Responsible Gambling at 7ppp

Gambling should be an enjoyable activity — not a source of financial stress, relationship problems or anxiety. This page explains how to stay in control, recognise warning signs and use the tools available to protect yourself.

🆘

Need Help Right Now?

If gambling is causing you or someone you care about serious harm, please stop playing immediately and contact a qualified support professional. 7ppp strongly encourages you to reach out to your operator's responsible-gambling team or a recognised support organisation in your jurisdiction. Your wellbeing comes before any game or bet.

18+

Adults Only

Or the higher minimum required by the operator/licence jurisdiction

Age Restriction

18+ — No Exceptions

Access to the 7ppp platform and all gambling-related content it references is strictly restricted to adults aged 18 and above — or the higher minimum age required by the operator or licence jurisdiction in which you are accessing the service. This is a firm, non-negotiable requirement.

Online gambling is an adult activity that involves real financial risk. Minors are particularly vulnerable to developing problematic gambling patterns. If you suspect that a minor in your household is accessing gambling platforms — whether through a shared device, a parent's account or their own independently created account — please take immediate steps to block access using parental control software, and report the issue to the operator's responsible-gambling team.

Note that the legal landscape in Pakistan — including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 — means that local laws may restrict or prohibit online gambling entirely. 7ppp does not provide legal advice. Users are responsible for verifying whether online gambling is lawful in their specific location before participating in any wagering activity.

Important: Age verification (KYC) is mandatory on all responsible gaming platforms. Never share your account credentials with a minor. Never allow a minor to use your account to access gambling services.

Core Principles

Six Rules for Playing Responsibly

Responsible gambling is not about avoiding gambling entirely — it is about keeping the activity within boundaries that protect your finances, relationships and mental wellbeing.

Only Bet What You Can Afford to Lose

Set a gambling budget before you start — whether that is PKR 500 or PKR 5,000 — and treat that money as an entertainment expense, not an investment. If you lose it, stop. Never use rent money, savings, emergency funds or borrowed money to gamble.

Set Time Limits Before You Play

Decide in advance how long you will play — 30 minutes, one hour, whatever is reasonable — and stop when the time is up regardless of whether you are winning or losing. Use your phone's built-in timer or the session time limit tools available on most responsible operators' platforms.

Never Chase Your Losses

Chasing losses — increasing your bets to try to recover money you have already lost — is the most common route to serious gambling harm. Accept that losses are part of the game. When you have reached your loss limit for the session, close the app and step away.

Do Not Gamble to Escape Emotions

Using gambling to cope with stress, sadness, boredom or anxiety is a warning sign of developing problematic behaviour. If you find yourself opening a betting app when you are upset or feeling low — even around high-pressure events like PSL finals or ICC World Cup matches — this is worth reflecting on seriously.

Take Regular Breaks

Gambling platforms are designed to keep you engaged. Taking deliberate breaks — standing up, making a cup of chai, stepping outside for a few minutes — helps interrupt the flow state that can lead to extended, unintended sessions. Structured breaks make it easier to evaluate whether you are still playing for the right reasons.

Talk to Someone You Trust

Gambling problems are far more common than most people admit, and they rarely resolve on their own. If gambling is causing you stress, talking to a trusted family member or close friend — someone in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad or wherever you are based — is one of the most effective early interventions you can take.

Player Protection Tools

Tools That Help You Stay in Control

Responsible operators provide a range of protective tools. These are available at no cost and can be activated at any time — often instantly. 7ppp strongly encourages every player to familiarise themselves with all of these before depositing.

💰
Deposit Limit

Cap the total amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly or monthly period — in PKR — directly from your account settings. Increases require a cooling-off period; decreases take effect immediately.

📉
Loss Limit

Set a maximum amount you are willing to lose in a given period. Once reached, your account will prevent further wagering until the limit period resets. Protects you from running up losses you cannot absorb.

⏱️
Session Time Limit

Specify a maximum session duration. A visible on-screen timer counts down during your session, and when the limit is reached the platform logs you out automatically — no matter what is happening in the game.

🧾
Reality Check

Set regular pop-up notifications — every 30 minutes, for example — reminding you how long you have been playing, how much you have wagered and your net win/loss position for the session.

❄️
Cool-Off Period

Take a structured break from gambling by requesting a cool-off period — typically ranging from 24 hours to 6 weeks. During this period, your account is suspended and promotional offers are suspended with it.

🔒
Self-Exclusion

A longer-term, more formal break — from 6 months up to permanent closure. Once self-exclusion is active, it cannot be reversed for the duration specified. Accounts are closed and balances returned via a verified method.

How to Activate Limits

Most responsible operators allow you to set deposit, loss and time limits directly through your account's Responsible Gambling or My Limits section. Decreases to limits take effect immediately. Increases require a waiting period (typically 24–72 hours) to prevent impulsive decisions made in the heat of a losing session.

How Self-Exclusion Works

Self-exclusion is a formal request to close your account for a defined minimum period. During self-exclusion, you cannot access your account, cannot deposit, cannot place bets and must not receive marketing communications from the operator. Any remaining balance at the time of exclusion will be returned to you via a verified payment method within the operator's standard processing window.

Know the Signs

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling develops gradually and is often hard to recognise from the inside. The following behaviours are widely recognised indicators that gambling may be becoming harmful.

Escalating Bet Sizes

Needing to bet increasingly larger amounts — PKR 1,000 becomes PKR 10,000 becomes PKR 50,000 — to feel the same excitement. This is a classic indicator of tolerance building, similar to patterns seen with other addictive behaviours.

Failed Attempts to Stop

Repeatedly trying to cut back or stop gambling — and failing — is a strong warning sign. If you have told yourself "this is the last time" more than once and found yourself back at the table or on the app, this pattern deserves serious attention.

Restlessness When Not Gambling

Feeling irritable, anxious, bored or empty when you are not gambling — and finding that the only relief comes from placing a bet or opening a gaming app. This emotional dependency is a serious warning sign.

Borrowing or Lying About Money

Hiding gambling activity from family members, lying about losses, borrowing money under false pretences, or using family savings without disclosure are behaviours that indicate gambling has crossed a serious line.

Neglecting Responsibilities

Missing work, neglecting family commitments, skipping university classes, or letting daily responsibilities in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi or anywhere else slide because of gambling time or gambling-related stress.

Persistent Loss-Chasing

Returning the day after a big loss with the specific intention of "winning it back" — and continuing to play even when further losses make the situation worse. Loss-chasing is both a warning sign and a significant amplifier of gambling harm.

Self-Check

Ask Yourself These Questions

These questions are adapted from widely used responsible-gambling self-assessment frameworks. They are not a clinical diagnostic tool — but honest answers can help you gauge whether your gambling habits are staying within healthy limits.

If you answer "yes" to three or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to take a break, use available responsible-gambling tools, and consider speaking to a professional. Your wellbeing is the priority.

Be honest with yourself. These questions only help if you answer them truthfully. Nobody else can see your answers — this is a private self-check.

Our Commitments

How 7ppp Supports Responsible Play

Responsible gambling principles are built into every corner of the 7ppp platform — not bolted on as an afterthought.

Adults-Only Access — Enforced and Prominent

The 18+ age requirement is displayed on every page of the 7ppp platform. We never minimise or obscure this requirement. Age verification is mandatory on all operators we reference, and 7ppp explicitly supports KYC enforcement.

No Glorification of Gambling as a Path to Wealth

7ppp does not publish content that portrays gambling as a reliable income source, a wealth-building strategy or a solution to financial problems. All illustrative figures (jackpots, bonuses, payout examples) are presented as contextual information only.

Responsible Gambling Context in All Gaming Content

Every article on 7ppp that discusses betting markets, casino games, bonuses or deposit methods includes responsible-gambling context. We do not publish guides on betting strategies without acknowledging the inherent risk of loss.

Transparent About Wagering Requirements and Odds

We explain bonus wagering requirements, house edge and RTP figures honestly — including the parts that are unfavourable to the player. Pakistani users deserve complete, unbiased information before they commit their PKR to any gambling activity.

Active Promotion of Self-Exclusion and Limit Tools

Rather than burying responsible-gambling tools in obscure account menus, 7ppp actively promotes their use throughout our platform. We want every player to know these tools exist and to feel comfortable using them.

Legal Context — No False Assurances

We do not claim that online gambling is legal, licensed or approved in Pakistan. We acknowledge the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 and related laws, and encourage users to verify the legal position in their own jurisdiction before playing.

Support Resources

Where to Get Help

If you or someone close to you is experiencing gambling-related harm, the following types of support are available. Always start with your operator's responsible-gambling team, who can immediately apply account restrictions, arrange self-exclusion and arrange a balance refund.

Your Operator's Support Team

The first and fastest point of contact for account-level protection is the live chat or email support of the gambling operator you are using. A reputable operator's responsible-gambling team can activate self-exclusion, apply limits or close your account within minutes of your request.

Mental Health & Counselling Services

Problem gambling is a recognised behavioural health condition that responds well to professional support. Pakistan has licensed psychologists and counsellors in major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad who work with behavioural addictions. A referral from your GP is a good starting point.

Trusted Family & Community Support

In Pakistani culture, family support systems are strong. Confiding in a trusted family member — a parent, sibling or close relative — can be an important first step. Many people find it easier to accept help when it comes from someone they already trust rather than a formal institution.

Responsible Gambling Organisations

Licensed gambling operators operating under international licences are typically affiliated with recognised responsible-gambling organisations in their licence jurisdiction — such as GamCare, GambleAware or Gambling Therapy. These organisations offer free, confidential online support, chat services and self-help tools available in multiple languages.

Parental Control Software

If you are concerned about a minor in your household accessing gambling content, consider installing parental control software or using your mobile carrier's content filters. Many Pakistani mobile operators offer family protection packages that can block gambling categories at the network level.

7ppp Support Contact

If you have a responsible-gambling concern related specifically to the 7ppp platform — such as a request to remove your account, restrict access to certain content or raise a concern — please contact our support team at the email address in the footer below. Responsible-gambling requests are treated as priority communications.

Important Disclaimer: 7ppp is an information platform, not a clinical support service. References to counsellors, mental health professionals or responsible-gambling organisations are provided for general guidance. 7ppp does not endorse any specific third-party service provider, and does not guarantee the availability or quality of any support service. If you are in immediate crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services.

Legal Context

Gambling Laws in Pakistan

Pakistan's legal framework regarding gambling is complex and evolving. The Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 is the primary federal statute, and it broadly prohibits gambling activities. Additional provincial legislation may impose further restrictions depending on your location within Pakistan.

Online gambling — as distinct from physical gambling establishments — sits in a grey area under Pakistani law. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has the power to block gambling websites, and has done so in various instances. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued guidance restricting the use of Pakistani banking channels for gambling transactions. However, enforcement is inconsistent and the legal landscape continues to shift.

7ppp does not provide legal advice and does not claim that online gambling is legal, licensed or approved by any Pakistani governmental body, regulatory authority or financial institution. Users are responsible for independently verifying the legal position applicable to them in their specific location and circumstances before participating in any online wagering activity.

This is not legal advice. The above is educational context only. If you need specific legal advice about gambling laws in Pakistan, please consult a qualified Pakistani legal professional. 7ppp accepts no liability for any legal consequences arising from a user's decision to participate in online gambling activity.
